McCulloch FHH20A 2000 psi 1.45 gpm Electric Pressure Washer Review

I purchased the FHH18A model (identical except for psi rating) two years ago and have used it professionally to clean the exteriors of about 30 large Victorian houses and a dozen long concrete driveways and walkways(about 150 hours of use total). Problems: 1.) I had the same problem as others with the cheap plastic double-female hose connector just recently. The hose would pop off when I turned on the water. I fixed the problem by converting it to a quick-connect system for $9 with standard hose parts from ACE Hardware. 2.) The water chamber inlet rubber gasket came out of its groove when attached to an unregulated outdoors water standpipe (c. 90 psi). Fixed by removing and re-installing it; a 30 minute job. 3.) Wear on the wand tip rendered the fan pattern unavailable after 2 years use. Bought a replacement wand/hose/tip through McCulloch website for $35.93 and had it in 3 days.

I fully expect to get another year's use out of it before I retire it and use it for parts. I think it is a good value for the $165 I paid for it, which so far has worked out to only $4.00 per project.

Campbell Hausfeld PW1805 1,800 psi 1.5 gpm Electric Pressure Washer with 20-Foot Hose Review

I have only owned this pressure washer for 48 hrs. but I have had it working hard and it hasn't let me down!I'm a painting contractor and I have a bigger gas powered hydroblaster but I wanted something to use while my partner was blasting the heavier stuff like deck floors.I figured I could just clean rails and pickets.This machine does a fine job on them and more, it surprisingly tackles even the heavier work, but... and this is the part I love...it doesn't gouge the wood as easily as the bigger units. It is easy to operate, light weight, well designed.It comes with two wands, an adjustable fan spray and a turbo nozzle....the turbo is my favorite....aggressive cleaning without gouging.The fan spray is a twist adjustment...no stopping to change tips.I've owned Karcher's and they were ok but didn't last long.This is a better unit and if it keeps on running it will be worth every penny.If it dies I'll be back to amend this review.
