Dose a real good job on cleaning off driveways. and thats the main reason i got it . Very happy with the job it dose
I've been pressure washing a 5000ft2 house for 8 years now every fall. This year I decided to try a turbo nozzle, and it cut the time by 2/3. It rotates at high speed, so it essentially cleans a 4-5" wide swath at the same impact pressure as if it were just a high-pressure pencil-size stream. It got my white siding incredibly clean. Not that a standard nozzle won't do that, but cleaning a 1/2" wide path at one time would take forever. I highly recommend it. I used it on a briggs 2400psi pressure washer and it worked great.
I got theses for a back up too the ones i got with my karcher and they fit just like the ones that came with it. And it had the 15 degreewhich they do not give you with the unit .
The fittings to connect to the wand are not the exact same as the original Karcher trigger gun.I had to substitute the fittings from my old gun to make this work.There was no way to do this without stressing the plastic.For a product with 'Karcher' in the title, I would expect the fittings to match.I would be aware to buy if you don't want to go through this hassle.
I found Karcher pump guard very easy to use, with it's threaded fitting that screws into the intake of the pressure pump.I thought it was pricey when I ordered it, but I will get multiple uses, since it didn't use up all the anti-freeze in the bottle with one use.
Motor just hums when switched on, will NOT turn the pump. Stated rating is 115V 60Hz. Unit starting current is 37 amps with a nominal current of 12.4 amps @ 131 volts - per the unit's inspection specification sheet. Unit was plugged in to a 130 volts AC line with a 50 amp fuse. The AR 240 is a well built, reliable home pressure washer.To be sure it can't be compared to a 3000 psi gas powered washer, but for an electric unit it gets the job done.I have cleaned grime and mold off of wrought iron work, crud off of patio tile and so on.I am pleased with the results.
I bought ths from Sears for $200.00 after doing a lot of research. Easy to assemble and ready to go in les than 10 min. I have used this for about 2 hours of run time, cleaning my side walk, porches and outside ceiings. The quick adjust nozzle is nioe so there is n switching tips. The Turbo Nozzle makes short work of large areas. The biggest down side is it is top heavy and tips over WAY TO easily. Ithink Stanle should make a wide anti tip bases, this would make it an asome electric pressue washer. SO far I am please and would Reccomend
Ordered the brush to clean vehicles.Works great!!!!Spins well and floods surface with water and soap.Only draw back I saw is I had to figure out what adaptar I needed to attach it to my cleaning wand.
I had this pressure washer sitting brand new and unused in my garage for nearly two years when I finally got around to using it.I had a problem with it where after starting the engine I'd get high pressure for about 3 seconds and then the water flow would stop altogether, while the engine kept running.I called the 800 number in the manual, and they put me through to an engineer who knew what the problem was - a "check valve" near the outlet hose that got sticky after the item sat unused for two years.He walked me through how to remove the valve and clean it up, and after that it worked like a charm, and has since then.The tech guy was obviously intimately familiar with every nut and bolt on this machine, and could immediately diagnose and clearly explain how to fix the problem.He offered to send me a new valve no charge, but it wasn't necessary.The Honda engine starts easy every time.I wouldn't have thought to review this product, but I was so impressed with the tech support that I just had to give some credit where it's due.
So far this has been a reliable product that has performed within its limitations.
It is so refreshing to purchase a product that is quality built and does everything and more than you asked for. This water broom saves time and money and most importantly, does a magnificent job. Just make sure that the water broom is the correct one for your particuar power washer,match the PSI AND GPM to the spec's for your particular power washer, if your not sure ask before you order, don't make the mistake of buying the wrong size water broom and then finding that your power washer does not have sufficient power to make the water broom work correctly.
I have rented pressure washers that were in the 2500 psi. range. They were very powerful and even at times hard to control. This one though you have to be pretty close for really dirty cement but it does do the job the first time. I'm very pleased with the fact that this model is powerful, quiet and doesn't need gas! For the lady of this house this is GREAT! You can do it all and by yourself. For men, I would guess you probably want more power just because, but know this, this one will do the job. For the price and the fact that it doesn't need that ever expensive gasoline it's tops in my book. I'm really glad I bought it. Things I've cleaned in the past 3 days, gutters, pool cage, patio/lanai deck, lawn furniture and stucco exterior... the truck is next.
Previously it took me about 3.5 hours to clean my driveway. Now it takes just over an hour. But best of all my back doesn't hurt!!!
Purchased elsewhere for $150.00,i used it to wash siding on home,car port concrete surface and a small boat. Total of approximately 10 Hrs.before the pump seized up and shut down the unit.STANLEY OWNERS MANUEL puts you in touch with GXI , the company that supplies the electric motor,pump, etc..for this piece of junk.They wanted me to send them the entire unit back to them and my credit card number and they would decide how to handle the problem which could cost as much as a new unit and all i wanted was for them to send me a new pump assembly.I have searched the Internet over and over and CAN NOT find a replacement.I WOULD LIKE STANLEY TO PROVIDE THE CUSTOMER WITH A PRODUCT THAT THEY COULD PURCHASE REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR.MAYBE A PRODUCT CUSTOMER SATISFICATION PERSON FROM STANLEY COULD HELP OUT HERE.I purchase a lot from Amazon because of their return policy and good pricing and they should know about this JUNK.I have seen documentation from people with the same problem.
I bought a surface cleaner from a "big box" store that was lousy. It broke halfway into the first use.
McCulloch products are disappearing from the market, including from Amazon. They're supposedly being taken over by Husqvarna, but if you have a problem with a product, you're out of luck. I bought a McCulloch pressure washer from Amazon on 8/31/09. After about 20 minutes of use, the washer wand extension - the pipe going from the trigger to the nozzle - split and started spraying out the side, making the washer useless. The warranty number sends you to a company called "Dixie Sales". On my first call, they said they would send a replacement part. After two months of waiting and many more calls, they finally told me the part is on "factory backorder" and not expected to be available until late December. Even if this is true (I doubt it), I've gotten no use out of a poorly made $200 product over the first four months I've owned it. To add insult to frustration, I can't even write a review for the product I bought, which has totally disappeared from Amazon.
The instructions are poorly written and faintly printed. Worse yet, I bought the 24' telescoping pole and the metal clamp on this belt does not fit. Call to the company was not returned.
Gets the jobe done and very fuel efficient. Easy to setup and start.Wish is had a longer hose for my application maybe 30-35'. It's not necessary to run at full throttle to get the job done and at slow speed you will get more work done with less gas.
My other dirtblaster had lasted about 11 years. The nozzle would stick occasionally. The new one works, well, just like new and gives my Karcher power washer the extra boost it needs to get the nasties off my Vette and Harley before I wash it or even when I don't have time for a complete was.
