Turbo Nozzle with FREE Quick-Couple Plug Review

I've been pressure washing a 5000ft2 house for 8 years now every fall. This year I decided to try a turbo nozzle, and it cut the time by 2/3. It rotates at high speed, so it essentially cleans a 4-5" wide swath at the same impact pressure as if it were just a high-pressure pencil-size stream. It got my white siding incredibly clean. Not that a standard nozzle won't do that, but cleaning a 1/2" wide path at one time would take forever. I highly recommend it. I used it on a briggs 2400psi pressure washer and it worked great.

I had this pressure washer sitting brand new and unused in my garage for nearly two years when I finally got around to using it.I had a problem with it where after starting the engine I'd get high pressure for about 3 seconds and then the water flow would stop altogether, while the engine kept running.I called the 800 number in the manual, and they put me through to an engineer who knew what the problem was - a "check valve" near the outlet hose that got sticky after the item sat unused for two years.He walked me through how to remove the valve and clean it up, and after that it worked like a charm, and has since then.The tech guy was obviously intimately familiar with every nut and bolt on this machine, and could immediately diagnose and clearly explain how to fix the problem.He offered to send me a new valve no charge, but it wasn't necessary.The Honda engine starts easy every time.I wouldn't have thought to review this product, but I was so impressed with the tech support that I just had to give some credit where it's due.

Faip Pressure Washer - 1850 PSI, Model# PW1850 Review

So far this has been a reliable product that has performed within its limitations.

I decided on electric over gas after discussions with landscapers and deck builders. Both advised that long term use of the more powerful gas washers raised the grain too much on wood decks and resulted in damage. Also, both suggested that if you are not using a gas powered washer often, they become difficult to start and run poorly. This from guys who use them regularly and still experience those problems. I wanted something easy to use and easily stored. I find it simple to operate and so does my wife.

The rotating scrubber head works very well on both wood and concrete--especially exposed aggregate. The other head works pretty well but I recently had trouble with it maintaining pressure. We've used it on our wood deck, exposed aggregate pool deck, concrete and asphalt driveway.It's worked just fine. Again you don't have unlimited pressure but the 1850 provided more than enough to complete each job faster and better than a regular hose.

I have not experienced any problems with hooking up the hoses but I'm pretty careful about it. Nothing has worn out but the handle used on the hose reel fell off. I think a larger screw will solve that problem.

Easy to use. Easy to store. Just make sure you have a large enough extension cord and you are using a receptacle that has few other demands as it will trip a breaker otherwise.

Nice little machine that makes household projects a lot easier.No waiting or paying ridiculous costs for a "professional" pressure washer. I would give 5 stars but I'm waiting to see how it holds up in the long term.

Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer Gun Up To 3200 PSI 204627GS Review

I have gone through several triggers trying to find one that fits my Factory Reconditioned Karcher G 3050 OH 3,000 psi 2.5 gpm Gas-Powered Pressure Washer. The orginaly trigger from Karcher had a faulty valve which made it impossible to have water flow. The replacement trigger leaked like a sieve. I am happy to say that this trigger works and does not leak!

Pros-

- Mainly it fits - I had a horrible time finding a trigger that accepted a male threaded wanded and a female threaded hose. It was also impossible to find a coupling to make any other trigger work (I tried all of the box stores and Amazon without any luck).

- No leaks -I have used the trigger 4 or 5 times without any issues

Cons-

I am not a fan of the safety that they put on the trigger. You must keep the safety engaged or you will lose water-flow. While this is far from a deal-killer it does make operation a little tricky (at times).

Final Verdict - I am thrilled that I was able to find a triiger that fits and works.

FAIP Powerwasher PWS1600 1,600 PSI 1.5 GPM Electric Pressure Washer Review

we recieved this power washer and I went right to work. I cleaned up all the yard furniture, the deck,and 2 sections of fence in no time. I couldn't believe the power. My only advice would be to make sure you wear ear plugs while using it. The machine isn't loud but while cleaning it is. We are very pleased with this purchase.

UPDATE!!!
the first time we used it it worked great. the second time it started shuting off and starting again until eventually it quit all together and we couldn't get it to work. I had to send it back. we bought a craftsman at sears for not a lot more but it was a 2150 psi. the difference in quality was very noticable.

My neighbor got a power washer and has been using it sprucing up his front yard.I decided that I needed one, too.This item was also listed on eBay, apparently by the same company.the price was reasonable in both locales, but eBay charged twice as much ($62)to deliver, compared to the Amazon offer.Go figure.It arrived promptly, carefully packed.Take care to review the instructions.The vendors really need to include a video.I got it connected and took it for a shakedown cruise.After about 20 minutes of use, I was very impressed.The force of the water was great for clearing away surface dirt, cobwebs, etc., from the side of the house.It responded promptly to the controls.

A problem arose after about half an hour of spraying using the turbo lance.The force of the water caused the tip of the Turbo lance to fly off.It literally blasted loose from its threads, which are made of hard plastic!The unit comes with a second, adjustable nozzle, which I used to complete the job.I called Customer Service, which responded promptly.I got an RHB (real human being) on the phone who was most polite.He apologized for the mishap and promised to mail me a replacement part.

All told, a satisfactory encounter and a very good product.Warning:This is not a toy.I treat it the same way I do my 16-gauge shotgun.

After owning one Karcher for a little over a year, the pump base cracked and lost pressure.I use pressure washers about twice a week, for no more than twenty minute periods with intervals of about 20 seconds on, 20-30 seconds off.We had banged it around a little and figured it had barely served its time.I figured it was a fluke, so I bought another Karcher.I baaabied this one.It may have lasted a month, I'm not sure, but it certainly failed in the exact same fashion as before, cracked lower pump housing.Exact same spot too, hmmm poor engineering???

So I sent the piece of crap back to Karcher, who slowly replaced it with a refurbished unit.But wait, another surprise inside the box.A disclaimer stating that this refurbished unit satisfies my original warranty and this replacement carries NO WARRANTY whatsoever.How can I make this poor pressure washer last more than a month? I build a rack and hang the washer on the wall, no stress on the little measly plastic wheels that never rolled out of the box.That's okay, wheels, your rolling days are over.Here, I have built you a throne.

The thing broke after three uses.Guess where.Yep, lower pump plastic outlet.There is absolutely no way this thing was abused or overused.Absolutely no stress on inlet or outlet hoses or fittings.Karcher, I loathe thee.

The handle is somewhat difficult for a woman to handle. There's no locking function to keep the machine engaged. As a result, you have to keep changing hands.

Karcher K 2.26 M 1,500 psi 1.3 gpm Electric Pressure Washer with 15-Foot Hose Review

I bought one of these a year ago. The high-pressure outlet that the wand attaches to is made of plastic and turns at a 90-degree angle to exit the case. After a year of service the unit started spraying water inside the case. The right-angle plastic piece had developed a crack right at its weakest point. This is a very bad design mistake on their part.

The unit was 1 year + 1 day old at the time. I called Karcher to take advantage of their "Rapid Exchange" program and they would not honor their warranty because my unit was 1 day past its warranty period!!

And to add insult to injury, it took them a week to make that decision and they didn't even have the courtesy to call me and tell me. I had to call them and pry the information out of them.

I will never purchase anything from this company again.

Factory-Reconditioned Karcher K3.68M 1,800 PSI 1.5 GPM Electric Pressure Washer Review

I've had a consumer grade Karcher electric pressure washer for a number of years, and the one listed here is no different.It has served me faithfully for many years until yesterday, when I stepped on the input garden hose just in front of its input hose bib - crack!! (*&#$*&(*&#$

Its input hose bib was plastic (polycarbonate?) and not strain relieved!!!

I dissasseble the plastic case (deeply recessed torx screws!! - no problem) and discovered that the plastic hose bib is integrated into the cylinder head and was non-replaceable.

Karcher's web site has no useful consumer information re: non-waranty repairs or parts.Only non-waranty repairs are for pro-grade gas washers (which have nice brass hose bibs by the way).No parts list available for my model and discontinued.

I ended up encasing the cracked hose bib with epoxy putty.Sealing the margins with RTV silicone, then conpressing the RTV with adhesive conpression tape, so maybe I can finish my deck project before having to buy a new washer.

What I find disheartening is here you have a moderately expensive piece of equipment, ~$200, with moderately expensive components (electric motor, precision machined pistons, check valves, GFI switch, etc.) and it's completely destroyable by a non-replaceable, non-strain relieved, externally exposed, cheap plastic hose bib! They could have put in a brass one, or mechanically supported the plastic one, or even mechanically decoupled the whole thing by a short flexible section of hose!

I figured that when I buy my PWS1600, I should pick up the accessory kit at the same time. I knew i eventually would, so i figured on maximizing the time i got to use the accessories.I am really happy i did.The brushes are great on cars, as I just learned about an hour ago;)And the extensions helped with all the cleaning and reaching.It seems like dirt migrates to the most difficult spots to reach, but the extension wands, and different nozzle heads made light work of it.this kit really compliments the pressure washer, and i am really excited to have a clean exterior of my home all spring and summer!!!!
